3. Provision of Advisory Legal Services
The Ministry is developing a strong internal capacity to offer advisory legal opinions to Federal Government MDAs in a timely and efficient manner. This involves the regular training of staff in diverse areas of law, including emerging fields of legal practice. The core objective of this initiative is to develop a culture of predictability and uniformity in Government positions on similar issues across all the MDAs. 4. Payment of Solicitors’ Fees
A programme designed to ensure that Government legal matters are handled expeditiously both locally and abroad, especially in respect of matters with high impact on the economy generally and the 7-Point Agenda.
5. Support for the Legislative Process
Improving and strengthening the internal processes within the Ministry in order to facilitate the early implementation of Executive arm decisions through appropriate Bills to the National Assembly
6. Co-ordination of our Parastatals/Partners
Effective co-ordination of the activities of its Parastatals and specialized anti-corruption agencies in order to ensure that the objective of Human Capital Development under the 7-Point Agenda is achieved.
