The Federal Ministry of Justice (FMJ), by virtue of its statutory responsibilities, occupies a critical position in the implementation of the present administration’s 7-Point Agenda. This is borne out of the fact that Government’s developmental agenda can only succeed in an atmosphere of Rule of Law which promotes human dignity and encourages every citizen and resident of Nigeria to contribute optimally to national development. A regime of legality and due process in all aspects of our national life will equally ensure a quantum leap in the level of local and foreign investment in the economy and thus ensure the attainment of our national developmental targets.
